P&T is now a blog...

That's right, folks. We're moving Politics & Technology from a newsletter format to a blog format. We'll still send out the newsletter, but the blog format will also us to post stuff as it happens. The newsletter will be mostly an edited version of the most recent blog postings. Stay tuned... Lots of good stuff happening.

Way to go, Kari! Excellent move. Politics and Technology will work very well as a blog. I'm pointing my news aggregator at it now.

Best wishes for what should prove to be a most interesting political season.

I'll second that - nice timing, nice design. Out of curiosity, though, why host at typepad?

Hmmm... Well, I looked at a few potential solutions, and settled on TypePad for a couple of reasons.

First, it was easy to set up and customize to my look. Some others were painful, even after I paid for the highest level of access.

Second, I decided to go with the hosted version (rather than installing on my server) for the sake of speed. Probably, if Movable Type is something I decide to offer Mandate Media clients, then I'll go down the round of installing it on my server. For now, though, this is a good place to test the interface and the strategy.
